Harold Richardson is greeted by his family after his release from prison. Harold spent 17 years behind bars for a crime that he did not commit. His sentence was vacated when DNA evidence linked a convicted murder to the crime.

The criminal justice system is not perfect. Innocent people are sometimes convicted of crimes they did not commit.
